“Conscious Relating: The Art of Connecting and Communicating Intimately” with Stef Sifandos
The most important relationship in life is our relationship to self, followed equally by our intimate relationships and our relationship to Earth. Assisting souls in developing acute, real, rooted skills and postures around cultivating a deep connection to self through practices of vulnerability, masculine/feminine ‘whole’ emergence, authentic empowerment and sovereign leadership. It is by creating harmony, meaningful connection and congruent truth in our relationships that we evolve and expand our consciousness. Deep pain is caused by being in disconnection within our relationships so that we lose ourselves and lose hope for living a full life. Description: Animals Australia is Australia’s foremost national animal welfare organisation, representing some 40 member groups and over 2 million individual supporters. Animals Australia, along with its global arm, Animals International, has an unprecedented track record in investigating and exposing animal cruelty and for conducting world-first strategic public awareness campaigns, including ending the dog meat trade in Bali. Our vision is a world where all animals are treated with compassion and respect and are free from cruelty. We believe that we can create a kinder world for all by fostering respect for animals and that our treatment of animals reflects who we are as individuals and as a society… – Dr Jennifer Hood (Veterinary Director of Animals International). Dr Hood will discuss this vision and how it shapes the work of Animals Australia and Animals International, and will also share her personal and professional journey as a veterinarian in seeking a kinder world.

“May I Be Frank” with Frank Ferrante
“May I Be Frank” documents the transformation of Frank Ferrante’s life. He unknowingly stumbles into a local restaurant in San Francisco, Café Gratitude, a raw, organic and vegan café. As he becomes friends with the staff, he keeps returning to the café where he feels welcomed and free from his collapsing personal life. On one such visit, Frank is asked by Ryland, one of the servers, “What is one thing you want to do before you die?” Frank replies “I want to fall in love one more time, but no one will love me looking the way I do.”. See Frank’s transformation yourself at the screening of “May I Be Frank”, followed by a Q&A session, where you’ll get the chance to ask him all the questions you want!

“The Power of Macrobiotics” by Liat Solomon
Liat is the founder of Down to Earth Bali, Earth Cafe and the Bali Vegan Festival. She is a trained macrobiotic chef and counsellor, having learnt under direct tutelage of master Michio Kushi. She opened her first restaurant at the age of 19 and has delved into the kitchens of hundreds of ill and suffering individuals, produced a series of cooking classes, led group detox retreats, macrobiotic conferences, Buddhist conventions, diet cruises and worked with numerous world famous people who are on the path of healing with whole foods. Het talk with give you the lowdown on Macrobiotics including the history, uses and the incredibly powerful affect of balance in your life- not just your diet.

Ghanim Al Sulaiti’s passion for conscious living and personal investment in a holistic approach to diet and health has set him on a journey of discovery all around the globe. He has been a vegan for 4 years and brought the wealth of knowledge he’d picked up along the way to his home country when he launched Qatar’s first 100% vegan café, Evergreen Organics in September of 2016. Beyond Qatar’s borders, he has also co-founded Vibe Café, Cambodia’s first vegan cafe; The Good Vibe Foundation; a charity, which aim to feed 10,000 school children healthy vegan food, and is the founder of Botany, a vegan skincare company launched in Doha. Join him to find out about how veganism has helped Ghanim find his real self and seeing the world with new perspective.

Qi Gong with Master Khien Phuc
Khien Phuc, of Cambodian origin,has been practicing and teaching external (Kung Fu) as well as internal (Tai Chi, Qi Gong) martial arts for more than 30 years. He will teach you the form called “The 5 Animals Qi Gong”, being an expert in this practice. This form of Qi Gong, well known in China, is one the four methods officially recognized. It has been created by Hua Tuo (a doctor in medicine of the Han dynasty), each movement of which is the result from his watching wild animals’ behaviours.

Salvatore grew up on the Mediterranean Island of Sicily, learning the traditional art of Italian cuisine from a young age which has been handed down through family generations. In this cooking class Sal will show you how to make Pumpkin ravioli arugula almonds pesto sauce, Portobello mushroom meatballs cheddar cheese gravy sauce, and Vegan cup cake Tiramisù, cashew crème, sweet fluffy spongy cake dipped in barley cafe. Learn how to cook Italian classics the vegan way!

“Intro to Fermented Food and Drinks” with Sayuri Tanaka
Sayuri has spent time as a vegan chef in Japan, followed by 5 years in India as a yoga retreat chef. She has also had experience as a raw food chef for over 3 years at yoga teacher trainings in Bali, before she established herself in Ubud to run her own yoga & raw food retreat. In this workshop you’ll learn the benefits of fermented foods and drinks and how to best consume these and for what purposes. Sayuri will be demonstrating how to make water kefir, kombucha, and fermented nut cheese.
